Our Services
For larger shipments that occupy more than half and up to the full capacity of a 48’ or 53’ trailer. This method is used when shippers have enough freight to fill a truck, want only their freight in the trailer, the shipment is time-sensitive or it is more cost-effective than other shipping options.
Less than truckload (LTL) is used when shipping smaller shipments that will occupy less than half a 48’ or 53’ trailer. This method is used when freight weighs between 150 and 15,000 pounds. When shipping LTL, the shipper benefits from “sharing” a trailer with other smaller shipments and thereby reducing total costs.
This shipping method involves the use of two types of transport. Typically, the freight moves by truck to rail at the shipping point and then from rail to truck for final delivery at the destination point. This method has several benefits that we can share with you.
Flatbed shipping is used to transport cargo that does not require the enclosure of a dry van trailer, cannot be loaded or unloaded from a traditional warehouse dock or does not fit within the dimensions of standard truck trailers. If you have specialty shipments, we can advise the best method of transport.
